HELEN MUSGROVE (KUERVERS) Peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2014, Helen passed away at the Victoria Hospital, at the age of 97 years. Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack, in September, 1989. Helen is also survived and will be dearly missed by her brothers, Herman, Martin (Theresa) and Ted Kuervers, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Helen immigrated to Canada from Germany at a very young age with her parents and two siblings. She spent her formative years on a farm in Lake Lenore, SK. Later, she moved to Saskatoon with her family where she worked for a short time before meeting Jack, her future husband. They married in 1951, moved to Winnipeg and raised a family. Helen was a longtime member of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Family was most important to Helen, as she kept close ties with immediate and extended families. Helen travelled extensively, made many friends, and was an animal lover. The family would like to thank the staff in Briarwood, at the Rosewood Village where she resided for many years. We would also like to thank Dr. David Breckman, for the years of kindness and excellent care. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March, 22, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle, Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, with Msgr. Ward Jamieson presiding.
