Date of Passing: Mar 20, 2014
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE F. ADOLPHE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on March 20, 2014. He was predeceased by his wife Florence Adolphe (nee Remillard) in July 1997. Maurice is survived by his children: Albert (Ruth), Felix (Gail), Susanne, Richard (Laverne), Bernard, Linda (Christopher); his grandchildren Robert (Ashley), Michael, Alain (Terese), Marc, Craig, Justin, Jenessa, and great-grandchildren Nicole, Kayla, Erin, Joslyn, Natalie and Madison. Maurice was born and raised in Lorette, Manitoba. Dad worked for the City of Winnipeg for several years but retired from CPR after over 25 years of service. Dad enjoyed spending summers at Winnipeg Beach at the cottage he built for his family. He loved having a big bon fire and relaxing around the fire with family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 24, 2014 at the Précieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street. We would like to thank all nursing staff and residents, especially Ester (nurse) at Chez Nous, Dr. Kevin Coates, Kara and the St. Boniface Hospital (6 south) for the wonderful care given before his passing. A very special thank you to Father Léo Couture for all his loving care and compassion. DESJARDINS 233-4949 1-888-233-4949 www.desjardinsfuneralchapel.ca

I met your family when I was just 8 yrs old. Our trailers at Winnipeg Beach were side by side. Lots of great time we had. Bonfires, swimming, catching frogs and just hanging out with all of you. Best memory was when you all came to our house in Winnipeg and helped us take that tree down. It was so big but my dad and yours never gave up..lol. Your dad was a kind soul and treated us like gold. So sorry for your loss...my dad Al sends his condolences as well. Al and Tina Scowen. - Posted by: Tina Scowen (family friend) on: Mar 22, 2014
