Clifford Cecil Grawberger Sr., 84, of South Junction, MB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. Cliff was born November 24, 1929 in Piney, MB, to Isaac and Augusta Grawberger. He married Jane Mayer on April 10, 1954, and together they raised nine children. Cliff is survived by his children: Victor Mayer (Cathy), Larry (Paulette) of Winnipeg, Clifford JR (Cindy) of Sprague, Jeanette McKee (Ron Berezowski) of Winnipeg, Tom (Brenda), Angie Muirhead (Brian) of Roseau, Minn., Holly (Joe) Bremault of South Junction, Garry (Bonnie) of Vassar and Barbie Poirer (Paul) of Lac Du Bonnet. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and eight great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by his wife Jane in 2000. A Service of Remembrance for Cliff Grawberger will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Piney Hall followed by ash interment in the Badger Cemetery, Badger, MB. To Clifford's family and special friend. So very sorry to hear of Clifford's passing. May he rest in peace. He was my loving Mother's (Alice Garant) cousin. I remember going to Piney on many occasions with my Mom Alice and meeting Clifford serveral times. I did see him at his sister's funeral (Muriel) years ago. I do not recall if he attended My Aunti Vi Nick's memorial a few years ago. My fondest memories was that Clifford was also such a happy go luck person and so very friendly. May you rest in peace.
