Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • My Dear Fran. As everyone has said I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Norm's passing. Norm was always my big cuz and I was always so excited when he came "home" for a visit and I was able to see him. One memory I will always have is when Sue, Brian and I were sitting at our little red card table. Norm came over and showed us how he could put out a candle with his bare fingers. I was young and he was cool. Super cuz. Well it was great to see you and Norm at Uncle Ron's 90th. You were so warm and loving and I loved catching up with you. All my love to you Fran, Scott,Kristle and Ian and Jodie - Posted by: Bruce Cowan (Cousin) on: Apr 12, 2014

  • Fran: I was so very sorry to hear of Norm's passing. Such a shock to us all. Norm was always a good friend to Bill and me, and we loved having him in our wedding party. We were sad that he moved so far away but proud of him in his new career. His letters and later his emails were always full of stories about his family of which he loved very much. May knowing you're in the hearts and thoughts of others help you and the boys through this time of sorrow. - Posted by: Susan Greig (friend) on: Apr 01, 2014
