I knew George first from working at Canada Post. George would make deliveries to the loading dock and it was always a pleasure to see him. We then met up again bowling at Chateau lanes and again it was always a pleasure talking with George. He will be missed. - Posted by: Augie Cabral (Friend) on: Mar 27, 2014

When Eaton's delivery quit, Kindersley Transport took over the reigns. I was the Branch Manager and quickly hired George to work in Winnipeg for us delivering to the remaining Winnipeg stores. It was a bit of a tricky transition but George took the job on with determination. When I retired, George was still working as a city driver and doing a terrific job - almost better than anyone there. George was always a dedicated, loyal employee. Got along with everyone and as the "senior" employee at the facility, commanded respect from the young guys - even me who is only 4 years younger. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend Friday but my deepest sympathies go out to the family. - Posted by: Garry Cullingham (I was George's boss At Kindersley Trasport for about 14 years) on: Mar 27, 2014

Sylvia and family, we are soo sorry for your loss. We've always liked visiting with you both when we did. George always had a warm smile and always a funny joke. May he rest in peace. xxoo - Posted by: Bernice & Roy Okaluk (Cousin) on: Mar 26, 2014
