Amber worked next door for several years in the Shell Food Store, and has fond memories of Walter. I used to hang around the Shell garage with Walters co-worker, who was my friend. We hope there's strong coffee in Heaven waiting for him. - Posted by: Bob & Amber Winslade () on: Mar 30, 2014

Walter and I worked together as mechanics for my father at Assiniboine Shell over 25 years ago. He helped me with my apprenticeship and I am still a mechanic today. He was a good teacher. My friends and family all have good memories of Walter and we still think of him as a friend. Thanks Walter. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Sam Sanders (Friend) on: Mar 29, 2014

I (Andrew) first met Wally in Birdshill, Mb. Mel Belluk introduced him jokingly to me as "Uncle" Wally and I would always greet him that way. Wally always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. He loved his cars and everything mechanical and we would enjoy talking about the "good old days" when it didn't require a computer to fix a vehicle. We will miss you Wally. Rest in Peace! - Posted by: Andrew and Maryanne Dolenuk (Friends) on: Mar 28, 2014

Wally and Marion were wonderful neighbours who never failed to open their homes for a visit and a bite to eat. Both very kind and loving to our children, we have some lasting memories of good music, fine perogies and a home where the door was always open. Our deepest condolences to your family. - Posted by: Lois Belluk, Gordon Orlikow, Nicholas and Liliana (Friends to Wally and Marion) on: Mar 27, 2014
