ANTONIO FERNANDES ALPUIM It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father and husband, Antonio Fernandes Alpuim, on March 25, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 54. Tony is lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Maria Teresa, his sons, Ivo and Daniel Alpuim, and by his daughter, Celia (Adam) Zurbyk. He is also remembered by his father and many brothers and sisters and extended family and numerous friends. Tony was a devoted husband and father and a special friend in the community. He touched many lives and will be truly missed. His family would like to thank the staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the excellent care given to Tony during his lengthy battle with cancer. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street N. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tony to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Quero desejar á familia ilutada os meus sinseros centimentos . Trabalhei com o amigo Antònio por vários anos , honest e trabalhador, dingo de respeito por todos os seus colegas de trabalho,e muito especialmente respeitado pelos seus patrōes ,é defacto grande perca para todos nòs E para a comonidade portuguesa ,especialmente a casa do Minho onde o António frequentava e era apreciado ; uma vez mais os meus sentimentos .
