Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED HECTOR JOSEPH ALLARD (aka FRED, PIE-YONE) September 16, 1931 - March 22, 2014 It is with great sadness the Allard family announces the sudden passing Alfred, husband of 63 years, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, uncle and friend at the age of 82 years. Alfred leaves to mourn his wife Velma, four sons: Hector (Norma), Marcel (Marlene), Norman (Marcella) and David (Colleen); two daughters: Cora (Jeffery) and Audrey (Clarence), also 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Alfred was predeceased by his parents Joe and Alice Allard; all of his brothers, sisters and in-laws; two daughters: Marie and Jeanine; son Edward; grandson Jeff Jr. Desjarlais, and two great-grandchildren Venessa Allard and Elend McKay. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., viewing - 9:00 a.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street in West St. Paul. Cremation to follow. Honorary pallbearers are all his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Seven Oaks Hospital staff on 4th Floor, Unit 2 for their care and compassion. Flowers are gratefully declined. Our prayers and love are with you uncle and your family. Life is short and it's only in times like this you realize how valuable it is. We pray that you're with your Mom and Dad and all your brothers and sisters. Thank you Uncle and family for every thing you've done for us as we were growing up.
