Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY CARRIE HEIN (nee POERSCH) April 15, 1922 - February 28, 2014 Peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2014 at St. Norbert Personal Care Home, Dorothy Carrie Hein passed away at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Hein (2000) after 55 years of marriage; her sister Blanche Goertzen and brother Sandy Poersch. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Yvonne Hein, Judy (Larry) Kessler, sons Glenn, Edward (Valerie), Brian (Laura) of Kelowna, BC, grandchildren Christopher (Colleen), Steven (Amanda), Diana (Ryan), Reed, Eric, Vicki, Vanessa, Kaylyn and two great-grandchildren Jessica and Ryder, sisters Marjorie Wolfe, Joyce Reinsch, brothers Len (Myrtle) Poersch, Richie (Gail) Poersch and numerous nieces and nephews. Services of Remembrance will be held on April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital and St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their care and compassion to Dorothy.
