Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants et leurs familles: Joseph et Emilie (Catellier), Paulette et Jean (Gaudry), Aline et Albert (Boulet), Léanne, Johanne Desmarais, Jean-Guy et Wanda (Brown), Michel et Bruce (Jardine), Jacqueline Dorge et Gilles (Paquette), Lyse et Marleen (Nakonagas), ainsi que tous ses petits-enfants: Natalie, Patrick, Roxanne, Carole et Rupert, Richard, Danielle et Jordan, Michelle et Alain, Ginette et Adrian, Lisa, Nicole et Sean, Mélanie, Julie et Brian, David, Chantal et Scott, Sylvie et Chris, Nicholas, Adam, Aleesia, Stéphane et Lucille, ses arrière-petits-enfants: Austin, Kaylen, Callie, Marley, Nico, Miguel et Kaia. Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses trois soeurs: Rita Dorge, Soeur Rose Cournoyer et Adèle Dubois (Léo), et ses belles-soeurs: Yvette, Louise and Madeleine Cournoyer, Annette Cadieux, Annie et Simone Dorge. Elle est allée rejoindre son époux Télesphore (Ted), décédé en 1978, et son fils Gérard (Gerry), décédé en 2004. Mom loved family gatherings, playing cards and Bingo, singing and fishing. She was witty and always had a quick answer. She was fiercely independent and really lived up to her motto "Don't tell me what to do!" Mom has left us with a legacy of faith and unconditional love. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Marcelo Garcia, Dr. Ted St. Goddard and the outstanding nursing staff and health care aides at Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014, at St. Eugene Parish, 1009 St. Mary's Road, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. A video presentation and a eulogy will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Our sincere condolences to the Dorge Family. This mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister has touched so many who knew her. You were very fortunate to have her here for so many years. Take comfort in knowing God's plan is to reunite her with her husband and son once again. She has now taken on the role of being your guardian angel until such time you are reunited with her.
