So many treasured memories! Always caring and loving and fun! She took me to see "The Sound of Music", the zoo, shopping at Eaton's and lunch at Salsbury House! All that could have been in one day. - Posted by: Paula Simon (Niece) on: Apr 28, 2014

Memere was a women of knowledge and history when it came to ancestry. She knew all that would be passed on to us. When I was looking back at moms pictures I remembered many of our great aunts and uncles. I was able to write all the names behind the pictures. This was all due in part because of all the family gatherings that used to take place. Every Sunday it seemed we were visiting with cousins of all ages, playing outside the different games like dodge ball, catch, sometimes baseball if we were enough, hide and seek, just to name a few. We would gaze at the men compete in Belgium bowling and anticipating the feast of food made for all. The memories of these days of family unity and comaraderie is so vivid In all the pictures. Memere and peppere were at home it seems forever. I remember the fall suppers they would take us to in the nearby towns. There would be outdoor conversations on and near the swings that uncle Henry had made. Memere and peppere were a huge part of our lives. We were thoroughly blessed and enriched to have had such love,,attention and devotion. I forgot to mention that I have memere's love for travelling. Don't know if I'll ever be a world traveller but I have the bug. We have all carried away parts of our heritage through you memere. I am sure that your last travelling adventure has carried you to the most beautiful and peaceful place in all of the world and eternity. God is taking care of you now as you have done to us. Love always your grand daughter and god child Monique - Posted by: Monique De Mare-Grenier (Granddaughter) on: Apr 19, 2014

In the short time that I knew Mrs. Labossiere, I could see that she was a woman who loved and was much loved by her family. I enjoyed her humour and appreciated her pragmatic view of her situation. She was a very lovely woman and it was my privilege to be of some small service to her during her final days. My sincere sympathy to all family members. I will think of you often and keep you in my prayers during this difficult time. - Posted by: Lori Thomas (Acquaintance ) on: Apr 15, 2014

My condolences to the family, Dolly in particular, my friend from high school. So sad to lose a loved one - you had her longer than most and I'm sure you're glad to know she's up there getting her eternal reward. Her suffering has ended. Our faith keeps us strong. My heart goes out to you. God bless. Annette (Chénier) Bonomo - Posted by: Annette Bonomo (friend of the family) on: Apr 12, 2014
