Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA PETTYPIECE 1918 - 2014 Olga Pettypiece (nee Shindruk) died peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at West Park Manor with her family by her side. Olga was born November 24, 1918, in Elphinstone, Manitoba. Olga met and married Joseph Pettypiece in 1947 in Winnipeg, Manitoba where they began their family and raised three wonderful boys. Olga was employed for over 25 years as a waitress at the well-known Ray and Jerry's Steakhouse in Winnipeg. She very much enjoyed having her family together and cooking many family dinners. Mom always made everything so special and always gave the most loving hugs and kisses. She is survived by her children, Jack (Kim) of Regina, Bob of Winnipeg, Barry (Fay) of Thunder Bay, nine grandchildren Chris, Robyn, Whitney, Heather, Kevin, Greg, Corey, Lindsay, Jessica and five great-grandchildren Ally, Autumn, Kole, Jadyn and Liam as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Olga was predeceased by both her parents and all her siblings with the exception of her sister Pearl. Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. My condolences to the Pettypiece boys! We will miss your Mom singing for us "Show me the way" but good memories will remain forever! Bob, you are the son that every mother would love to have. You truly represented your brothers and your Mom is looking down on earth and saying "That's my boy". Jack, Bob, Barry and family, sorry for you loss. I am going to miss my partner in crime, my singing partner, my stories teller- her siblings and the place about Elphinstone.
