MARTIN FRANCO FRANCISCO 1923 - 2014 It is with deep sorrow our family announces the sudden passing of Martin Franco Francisco, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Aurora, in 2012. He is survived by his loving children, Linda (Nardo Cabanlong), Bert (Candy), Martin (Carmen), Emmy (Dominador Ferrer), Eloida, and Sylvia Gigie (Cesar Macasaet) to forever cherish his unfailing care and the love he bestowed upon them as well as the love and respect he paid to others. He is also survived by his sisters, nephews and nieces in the Philippines, Japan and the USA. Martin will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren for their Lolo's contagious laughter and wonderful sense of humour. Martin was born on November 23, 1923 in the Philippines and later immigrated to Canada with his family in 1979. Martin and Aurora were married for over 65 years, were inseparable and shared a deep, loving bond with each another. Friends may pay respects at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street on Sunday, April 20, 2014, "Lamay" from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. A mass of Christian burial (funeral service) will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 250 Burrin Avenue at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Philippines.
