Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEINRICH (HENRY) KRUEGER February 9, 1933 - April 12, 2014 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Heinrich Krueger, age 81 years, on April 12, 2014. Heinrich arrived from Germany to Canada in 1953. Heinrich leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Adele, of 59 years; two sons, Karl-Heinz (Marianne) and Edwin John (Kim); daughter Rosalie Adele (Jim); six beautiful grandchildren, Steven (Lindsey), Kristal (Rheal), Richard, Karla (Tyler), Amanda and Kaileen; brother John (Mary), their children; sister Helene, her children, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dad worked at Maple Leaf Mills for 41 years and at Niakwa Golf Course for 10 years. Dad was a fun loving, socializing guy that loved life, and telling wise crack jokes. He enjoyed being the life of the party, and when needed gave a helping hand. Dad enjoyed his family visiting and gathering on holidays. Dad took great joy in having his grandchildren around him showing them all the different variety of birds and how to respect nature that came to our cottage. He spent many hours gardening and reaping the rewards from it. His pet squirrel would welcome him as his car would enter the driveway at the cottage. As Dad went to sit in his favourite chair, the squirrel would jump on his shoulder waiting for his regular feeding. After he retired his diabetes gradually diminished his active and social lifestyle. Heinrich will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Special thanks to the Paramedics and Fire Department staff and Concordia Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Klassen Funeral Home. KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 HENDERSON HWY. 204-338-0331 Condolences may be sent to www.klassenfuneralhome.com

I remember Mr. Krueger very fondly. He was a good friend to my father who passed away many years ago and he was a good friend to me. We have not been in touch for some years and I was saddened to hear of his passing. - Posted by: Miro Bukal (Friend) on: May 13, 2014
