ANNE NEYEDLY With family by her side, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Anne passed away February 26, 2014. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Bob) Warga, grandsons Gary (Sonya) and Brent (Michelle). She leaves behind her four great-grandchildren Karly, Alyssa, Cole and Alexis. She is also survived by her brother Nick (Eva), sister-in-law Doreen, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Ed, her brother John, and sister-in-law Mary. Anne was raised on a farm near the small town of Elma, Manitoba. She married Ed in 1940 and they were married for 53 years. They owned a general store in Elma and a hotel in Russell, Manitoba. In 1950, they moved to Winnipeg where she was employed at Brewery Products for several years. She also worked at Zellers and Eatons from where she eventually retired. Anne was a great cook and loved to bake. She was well known for her delicious cinnamon buns, perogies and cabbage rolls. She was an avid bowler and represented Manitoba on several bowling teams. Bingo was another favourite pastime, as well as watching the Blue Jays' games. She enjoyed many years at the family cottage in Grand Beach where she made a special bond with her two grandsons. Her four great-grandchildren always enjoyed their time with her, leaving her with small momentos of their visits. Her family was Anne's world and we are all richer because of how she touched our lives. We would like to thank the staff at Oakview Place Extendicare for their kindness and compassion shown to Anne and our family over the last three years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
