ROBERT GEORGE IRWIN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad/grandfather, Robert George Irwin on April 9, 2014 at the St. Boniface Hospital. He was 86 years of age and the beloved wife of Violet for 52 years. Robert was born in Belmont, MB on March 24, 1928 and resided in Belmont for his youth. The family moved into Winnipeg in 1945. Robert was predeceased by their infant daughter Brenda Ann in 1955 and his wife, Violet in 2002. Robert is survived by his son Ronald Irwin and daughter-in-law Laurie; his daughter Pamela Boboski (nee Irwin) and son-in-law Dennis. Plus granddaughter Tracy Tencha and husband Paul; grandsons Jason Irwin and Marianne Forbes; David Irwin and wife, Christine Menzies-Irwin; Trevor Boboski; Andrew Boboski and wife, Lisa Harrison. Along with great-grandchildren Lexie, Katelyn, Mykayla, Ashton and Scarlett, and his sisters, Jean Tarnick (Michael) and Betty Peck (Ken). Robert was a loving father and friend. He was considerate, loving person who was loved by all who knew him. A special thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff that took care of Robert while he was in the hospital. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart and Stroke, Diabetic Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn 4000 Portage Ave. Reception to follow. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
