Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY JANE WARRACK (nee SNOW) Peacefully at Misericordia Place on Monday April 14, 2014, Mary passed away at the age of 92. She is predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years James Warrack and three sisters (Collie, Violet and Lillian) and six brothers (Ernest, Bill, Walter, Sam, Ted, and Tom). Mary is survived by her daughter Barbara (John Wiens) and grandsons JJ (Mindy Lichtman) and Colin and son Barry (Jane Zoutman) and grandson Chris (Pam Onchulenko), recent great granddaughter Adriana Alyse and granddaughter Sarah and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Glace Bay Cape Breton Island where she met Jim, married, and moved to Winnipeg after The Second World War. After living in Rivercrest for ten years, they moved to Winnipeg and lived on Waverley St. for many years. Her final years were spent at the Rosewood and Misericordia Place. The family would like to thank the Misericordia Place staff who provided excellent care for Mary these past four years. Mary enjoyed attending Winnipeg Symphony Pops concerts, Blue Bomber games, the Winnipeg Music Festival and was a member of River Heights Ladies Bowling League for many years. Mary was also a long time member of St. Andrews River Heights Church where she enjoyed watching Jim, Barry and Barbara perform in the choir. A quiet family burial service was held on Thursday April 17 at Brookside Cemetery. There will be a memorial service celebrating Mary's life on Saturday April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
