Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET JOYCE JONES (NIXON) (nee BURR) July 4, 1928 - April 19, 2014 With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret Joyce Jones (formerly Nixon) (nee Burr) at Fred Douglas Lodge in Winnipeg. Joyce is lovingly remembered by her children: Lesley Clement of Orillia, Ontario, Mavis (George) Nixon of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Eric (Sherry) Nixon of Forest, Ontario, and Edward Nixon of Hamilton, Ontario; grandchildren Julian, Alexandra (Adam), Andrew, Briana (Brett) and Rebecca; sisters Alice Johns and Hazel Warren, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Walter Jones, parents Nelson and Josephine Burr, and sisters Phyllis Timmons and Helen Demchenko. A Celebration of Joyce's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. For those so wishing, memorial donations to Fred Douglas Foundation or a charity of choice will be appreciated.
