Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE HERBERT (BERT) ARMITAGE November 22, 1919 - April 17, 2014 Peacefully on April 17, 2014 George (Bert) Armitage passed away at the Gimli Hospital. George was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Edna Eileen, nine siblings and a grandson. George is survived by daughters Carol (David) Moizer of Tssawassen, BC, and Lynne (Allen) Moxam of Lockport, MB, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. George was born in Dewsbury, England and emigrated to Canada on December 13, 1966. As per George's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
