PATRICIA ANN NALDRETT (1929 - 2014) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Naldrett on April 20 after an extended illness in hospital. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), parents Norm and Ruby Lehman and granddaughter Kerry Mazur. Surviving Patricia are her daughter, Susan (Brian Mazur) and their children Corey (Cara) and Samara (Jodey); son Glenn (Audrey) and their children Sean (Christine) and Trevor (Laura); great-grandchildren Kenzie, Charity, Rachael, Jack and Julia as well as her loving sister Betty. Patricia was a consummate gardener, blessed with a green thumb where her flowers and vegetables flourished under her TLC. She had a passion as well for Christmas time, when she spent countless hours hand-rolling German cookies and making chocolates for all of her grandchildren. We reflect fondly on those times when we saw Patricia and her sister Betty shopping for D cup sized grapefruit or other novelties and the more somber moments where Patricia sat on our patios and decks dutifully inspecting air quality with any like minded and considerate family members. We thank the caring staff at Sturgeon Creek II especially Joanne, Judy, Nancy, Claire as well as the facility healthcare aides plus the home care staff of WRHA for their patience and loving care. In addition, thanks to those at Grace Hospital 3 South, especially Drs Krongold and Borrett, nursing staff Jonathan, Michelle and Caitlyn and the many health care aides for their constant, compassionate and professional care for Patricia. Cremation and a private family interment have taken place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place at Sturgeon Creek II on Saturday, April 26 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia's memory may be made to the Grace Hospital Foundation, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Winnipeg Humane Society or any charity of choice.
