Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Rod, Elaine and family, I have the warmest love filled memories of my time with Auntie. No one could make you laugh or cry when telling a story like her, she kept the cutest little doll house of a home, the most delicious meals...I can see the potatoes steaming and that famous little green salad on the table now. Most of all it was the safeness and comfort I felt when in her company...I knew I was loved. She is in our Lord's embrace with his love just as she embraced us with her love and laughter in life. • Grandma was a great cook and baker and I enjoyed her visiting us in Victoria. She'd always have a hot lunch ready for me when I came home. Her laugh, smile and loving demeanour will be missed by all. She taught me card games like "Kings in the corner", all of us sitting at the kitchen table .... GOOD TImes ! Grandma treated me not like a step-grandson but like a true blood grandson and I've always cherished that about her and the Kidd family - Posted by: Shame Slym (Step-Grandson ) on: Apr 27, 2014

  • Rod, Elaine and Family, We are deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and sister. Stu had many fond memories and stories he told us about Auntie Alice during his visits to Winnipeg. Love Linda, Robyn, Elena and Mircea - Posted by: Linda Bradlee (Niece) on: Apr 26, 2014
