AUDREY MADSON Audrey passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Charleswood Care Centre. Audrey was born April 1st, 1917 in Edmonton to the late Mads Emmett Madson and Edna Mabel Madson (Merrick). Audrey received her early education in Edmonton, Saskatoon and Regina completing high school and Business College in Winnipeg. Audrey enjoyed a long time career as a legal secretary. Audrey was a kind caring person who cherished family and friendships and was gifted musically. She was granted many years of good health prior to the onset of Dementia/Alzheimers. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, brother Pilot Officer Jack in 1942, sisters Bernice Rayment in 2011, Shirley McGregor in 2013, brothers-in-law Charlie Rayment, Walter McGregor and Bill MacEwing. She is survived and lovingly remembered by sister Marguerite "Chick" MacEwing and treasured nieces and nephews Cathy, Doug, Heather, April, Sandra, John and families. Thank you to Charleswood Care Centre where Audrey's needs were met with compassion and understanding. Cremation has taken place and in keeping with Audrey's wishes, there will be a private family service at a later date.
