KATHERINE LYNN GRABOWSKI (nee HYKAWY) Peacefully, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear mother Katherine Lynn Grabowski at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2014. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sharon (Joe); son Todd; two grandsons, Cory (Tracey) and Jamie; three great-grandchildren, Joel, Hayley and Isabella; as well as many nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Peter; her parents and siblings. Born and raised in Gimli, Mom eventually moved to Winnipeg. She was always devoted to her family and as a result, didn't work much out of the home over the years. Raising her children and looking after the family were the most important things to her. Katherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be forever remembered by those who loved her. In compliance with Mom's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will take place.
