WANDA LYNN EDWARDS She Shone. She lived, she loved and was loved in return - dearly. She led and inspired and walked through this world with grace. At this time, when we're burdened with the task of telling you that she's now lost to us, remember first and always that she was a light in our world when she was here. She Shone - her memory will endure. Wanda Edwards, at the age of 62 years, passed from our world on April 25, 2014 at Gimli Community Health Centre. She is predeceased by her father, John (Gudjon) Abrahamson and survived by her mother, Therese Abrahamson; Her bereaved husband Rick Edwards, whose absolute love and devotion to her was not lost on all those who knew and cared about them; Her daughter, Shannon (Randy) and their sons Scott (Cara) and Jeffrey Edwards, along with their grandchildren Andrew, Cameron, Danielle, Chase and Jacob. She leaves behind also three younger siblings Pat (Don), Diane (Barry) and John (Nancy); Might as well be family, Jim, Gisela and Shelley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. If a person's legacy can be measured by caring family and close friends, then she has been truly blessed as there were many. Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at the Gimli Community Health Centre for their caring nature and outstanding dedication to their patients. To CancerCare Manitoba - You tried - We fought hard. Medicine is changing. There is new hope.
