Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET MCDOUGALL Our beloved mother Margaret McDougall (nee Tomlinson) passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Cathy Curlette (Edward) of Gort, Ireland; her son Dave McDougall (Maureen) of Calgary, Alberta, her five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on August 12, 1919 to Catherine and James Tomlinson and came to Canada as an infant. She married the late Angus McDougall in 1940. Mom was an active member of the Fort Garry Legion and surely did love her Bingo. Special thanks to Vivian, Bill, Johnny and Helen Hopps and also Ray and Joan Thorsteinson for all their kindness and caring shown to our Mom. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire staff of the Golden Door Geriatric Centre for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the St. Vital Catholic Church in Fort Garry at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. I was saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. I found out today when I went to play bingo at Fort Garry Legion. Beth and I considered you our adopted grandma and always enjoyed our talks. Beth and Mom will be at heaven's gates to welcome you with open arms and you can once again be all together to play bingo there.
