OLGA ANDRONICK (KUBARA) November 30, 1928 - May 7, 2014 Peacefully on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, Mom passed away at Heritage Lodge, at the age of 85 years. Left to cherish Mom's memory are her son Gary, daughter Cathy (Mel), granddaughter Amanda, grandson Christopher, sister, Emilee Rose, and brother Edward Kubara (Jennie) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bill in 2009, parents Anna and Michael, brothers William, John, and Mike, and sister Helen Dobrinsky. Mom was always known for her skill in the kitchen and her ability to fix anything. Her house held many a family gathering especially at Christmas when family, food and great conversations took place. After retiring from Boeing Canada, Mom and Dad spent many wonderful years at the cottage in the Big Whiteshell surrounded by family and friends, but her greatest pleasure was just being with Dad. Granddogs Sam and Ella will miss Grandma and her never ending supply of cookies. Special thanks to Aunts Emilee, Laurice and Olive for your calls and visits, I know they were much appreciated. We will miss you Mom, but we know you are now with Dad and at peace. Thanks to the staff at Heritage Lodge for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website.
