ROLF GUENTHER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son, nephew, brother and uncle Rolf Guenther. Rolf passed away suddenly on May 1, 2014, at the Health Sciences Centre. He will be greatly missed by his mother Hildegard, stepfather Louie, sister Carmen, brother-in-law Dale, two nieces Dana and Cassandra, Onkle Horst, Aunt Monica and Onkle Lutz, aunt Toby, Onkle Otto and also many cousins and friends. Rolf was born and raised in Winnipeg. He lived one year in Germany in the early 1970's. Although he was shy, he was very popular and well known for his humor and wit. He touched many lives and will never be forgotten. He was very proud of his German heritage and loved his family immensely. We take comfort in knowing you are home with the Lord. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service to commemorate Rolf's life will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church, 821 McDermot Avenue with Pastor Brian Russell officiating.
