LES HOLM 1938 2014 On May 7, 2014 Leslie Wallace Holm of Gimli, MB passed away with his loving wife Janette of 55 years by his side (they said it wouldn't work). He leaves to mourn his children Bob (Barb), Brian, Mike (Miwa) and Ken; his 10 grandchildren; brothers Allan (Beatrice) and Baldur (Anne); and sister-in-law Lois Meilleur. He loved his wife of 55 years. They were never apart. He loved cooking, baking, yard work and car racing. Family gatherings, where he was known for his vinetarta cakes. He baked your favourite dishes and sent canning home with you. We will miss his carefree ways, the laughter and "I'll see you again." At Dad's request there will be no service. My deepest condolences to Aunty Janette and the boys and their families. Although we did not get to spend a lot of time together over the years the loving relationship that Les and Janette shared was an inspiration to me.
