BEVERLY ANNE RICE Peacefully on May 9, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer, Bev joined the choir of angels in heaven. She will be lovingly missed by daughters, Debra and Janet (Jerry); granddaughters Margaret (Chris) and Alicia (Joshua), and four great-grandchildren, also sister Diane (Richard) and brother Dave (Reta), and their children. Mom was very involved in her Church, the Interlake community, and was a Gimli Hospital Board member for years. To fulfill Mom's passion for dancing and singing, she taught dance more than twice a week for years and sang in many church and community choirs. Her creativity shone in her love for all types of crafts. Mom was an avid reader and book collector. Loving animals, she often cared for friend's pets. Loving travel, she was able to visit parts of Europe, USA, Caribbean, and across Canada. Heartfelt thanks to Red River Place for caring for Bev with compassion and humour. Memorial services will take place at All Saints Anglican Church in Whytewold, MB on Tuesday (today), May 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. R. Mather officiating.
