ROBERT VERHAPPEN May 21, 1945 - May 9, 2014 Robert Verhappen, beloved husband of Anita, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2014. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Joey (Geoff) Tipping, Thea (Barrie) Graham, Lia (Bruce) Loppe, their families as well as Anita's family and Robert's extended family in Canada and Holland. Robert was born in Haarlem, Holland and immigrated with his family to Winnipeg in 1954. He was employed by Winnipeg Transit for 30 years retiring in 2000. Bob was a wonderful husband, a kind hearted man, and was always ready to lend a hand to friend and neighbour alike. Funeral services will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, on Saturday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing a half hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111
