Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS ALLAN JENKINS January 2, 1947 May 8, 2014 Dennis passed away at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the Intensive Care Unit at Seven Oaks Hospital. Dennis was born in Swan River Hospital to Howard and Hilda Jenkins on January 2, 1947. Dennis grew up in Bowsman, MB and attended school there, where he made many lifelong friends. Dennis was confined to a wheelchair for many years, but his spirit and his excellent memory continued to keep him keenly interested in people and the world around him. Dennis enjoyed several trips to Hawaii with his parents, he often spoke of those good times in those beautiful Islands. For the last few years Dennis lived at 1010 Sinclair, where he received the special care and kindness of those who work there. Dennis enjoyed the affiliation he had with the people and the Ministerial staff at Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Health and weather permitting he was a faithful attender. Cremation has taken place and the funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Dennis gave us the honour to be our best man at our wedding back in 1980. His strength was amazing as he suffered along with that cruel disease. He was the Godfather to my son Larry.
