WENDY ANNE HARLOS September 9, 1961 - May 12, 2014 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of our precious Wendy Anne Harlos on May 12, 2014 at Health Sciences Centre after a sudden illness. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband Dan, her father Edward, mother-in-law Rose, and her siblings Barry (Sylvia), Sharon, Tim (Gail), sister-in-law Janet (Richard) as well as nieces and nephews Kristen, Jennifer (Andrew), Adam, Nicole, Josh and Charlotte. Wendy was predeceased by her loving mother Edith in 2008. Wendy will be remembered by her family as the youngest one who loved the times family was together on vacations where she could play cards and beat the West Coast gang. Wendy discovered a passion for making jewellery and had the start of being a successful jeweller with her many sales in Vancouver, BC. Wendy worked for 26 years for Teachers' Retirement Allowances Fund in the accounting department, where she made many friends. Wendy's sense of humor, her love of her family, her deep sense of care for her pets will be missed more that words can convey. Our family was very fortunate to have her for as long her life was meant to be, for those who cared deeply for her and for those she cared about, their world is forever changed. A service to celebrate Wendy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff who cared for her at Seven Oaks Hospital and at Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to The Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre, PO Box 147, Winnipeg, MB R3V 1L5. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE 204-949-2200 neilbardalinc.com
