RALPH SONTAG 1943 - 2014 After a long battle with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, the family of Ralph Sontag announce his passing at the Kildonan Personal Care Home on May 11, 2014 at the age of 70. Ralph is survived by his wife of 47 years Lesley, daughter Ricki (Paul Santos), sons Joel (Jodie) and Corey (Greg); grandchildren Micheal (Alexandra), Matthew and Hayley Santos, Alicia (Shawn Sullivan), Justin (Ashley) and Ava Sontag and Kyle Sontag; great-grandchildren Madison Sullivan and Breanna Sontag; his brother Richard (Kathy) Sontag and sister-in-law Joel (Ron Reid); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Fred and Elsie Sontag and sister Beverly. In accordance with Ralph's wishes cremation has taken place and a funeral service will not be held. A private interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Should friends so wish, donations can be made to the Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Society. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Concordia Hospital for their special care. A special thank you to the nurses and aides at Seven Oaks Hospital who cared so well for Ralph while he was waiting for placement. A special thank you to the staff at the Kildonan Personal Care Home for their wonderful care, kindness and compassion at this time. www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715
