BERNIE CHICK We are saddened to announce the passing of Bernie Chick early on Saturday, May 17, 2014. He died peacefully at the Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 88 years. Bernie will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his loving wife Eileen (Johnson), daughter Janice (Al), son-in-law Earl, grandchildren Amanda and Christopher, his sister Lillian, nephews and nieces, David, Dennis, Alexe, Christine and Diane. Bernie was predeceased by daughter Patrice, sister Olga (Wally) and brother Walter (Mary). Bernie joined the Navy in 1944 and was discharged in 1946. He worked at CN Railway for 32 years, retiring in 1988. The family wishes to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home for their kindness and patience, as well as the staff and Dr. Brar of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and concern.
