Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEATHER JUNE HAMIT (nee MACNEIL) It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Heather Hamit on May 15, 2014 at the age of 67. Heather is survived by her loving husband Tom, daughters, Sheri (James), Amber (George), Bonnie (Darryl) and three grandchildren, Jamie, Joseph and Scarlett. Also left to mourn; one aunt, Agnes Murkin, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law and husband, Margaret and Doug Pogson. Memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank all the staff at Golden West Lodge for their care and compassion during Heather's last years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
