JEAN KUBLANSKI (nee BUZAN) With heavy hearts the family would like to announce the passing of Jean Kublanski, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Melvin, parents Dora and Harry Buzan, brother Bill, and sister Helen. Jean will be lovingly remembered by daughters Lorna (Bob), and Gail (Joe), son Ken (Regine), brothers Percy (Donna) and Gerald, and sister Irene, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception to follow. If family and friends so desire, a memorial donation may be made in Jean's name to a charity of one's choice. A special thanks to Dr. Mehta and all the wonderful nursing staff at St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Jean. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111

Lorna, Gail and Ken, I am so sorry to read of the passing of your dear Mom. She truly was an amazing woman and such a good friend to my Mom and Wally. So sorry to hear of Auntie Jean's passing. She was wonderful woman and I can still hear her beautiful laugh. Although I hadn't seen her in years, I have fond childhood memories of visits when we were kids.
