EVELYN KREUTZER (nee SMITH) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Verena Kreutzer on May 16, 2014 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 93. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Henry and son Claude; sisters Annie, Ethel, Thelma and Ivey; brother Jim and her parents Bessie and James Alfred. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her son Lloyd (Judy); granddaughters Shannon (Martin), Wendy (Mike), Kelly (Tim), Sherry (Jon), Carrie; grandson Cory; six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; her brother Gordon and sister Dorothy. Evelyn raised her two sons alone for three and a half years when her husband Henry was a member of the Canadian Army during the Second World War. Thank you to the Seven Oaks Hospital staff for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Lydia Wermy for her special care and Martin Howard who visited Evelyn almost every day during her long stay in Seven Oaks Hospital. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
