FRANCIS MACDONALD (MAC) TYE August 1, 1922 - May 21, 2014 Mac died peacefully on May 21, 2014 at the age of 91. Mac was predeceased by his wife Marg in 2010 after 56 years of marriage, his parents Dr. P. L. and Edna Tye and brothers Jack (Lenore), Bill (Ruth) and Jim (in infancy). He is survived by sons Alex (Catherine) and Hugh (Julianne) and daughter Jane Charbonneau (Rob), grandchildren Maddie, Mary, Taylor and Dustyn (Melissa) and great- grandchildren Alexis and Dylan, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Mac was born in Milverton, ON. He attended the University of Western Ontario where he obtained his HBA in 1946. He spent the bulk of his career with Great West Life and retired in June 1983. He was an active member of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church in Windsor Park. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church at 881 Autumnwood Drive.
