• Dear Teddi, Jackie, Mr. Hatch and family, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother/wife/grandmother. Phyllis was such a lovely lady, so kind, and friendly. I met her at Maple Leaf School where she came to substitute teach. She was an excellent teacher and I was always thrilled when she could take over for me. • I extend heartfelt condolences to the family of Phyllis Hatch. I first met Phyllis at Springfield Heights Elementary. We both taught Grade Four. My daughter was in her classroom. We later taught together at Emerson Elementary where Phyllis taught Kindergarten. Phyllis was a dedicated teacher, always organized and very professional. She impacted the lives of countless students over her long career in teaching. Her appearance was always immaculate. She was always so happy to meet former colleagues for a friendly chat after she retired. I know that Phyllis will have left behind many happy memories which will be a source of comfort for her family in years to come.
