ELEANOR LUCILLE WATERMAN (nee BURZUIK) After a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Eleanor Waterman, aged 74 years, of Selkirk, MB, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and aunt. She was predeceased by her parents Helen and Kenneth; her husband Ernest (Bunny); grandson Dustin; sister Marilyn, and guardians Lorna and Ernest. She is survived by her children Gaylene Sparks (Jeff), Darlene Morrison (Blake) and Darrell; grandchildren Jackie (Kenny), Cassie (Jerret), Jarret (Stephanie), Brett and Travis; great-grandchildren; cousins Minota (George), Keith (Berenice), Beverley and Donna; brother-in-law Tommy (Barbara), good friend Patsy Waterman; many nieces, nephews, her beloved dog Sparky, and many friends. Family was the main focus of Eleanor's life. She delighted in being a wife, mother and nannie. The ministry in her last days by Rev. Brad Elliott was a comfort to her and her family. The family thanks the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital, home care workers, and especially Lorraine. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christ Church Anglican, Selkirk, MB with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating.
