PATRICIA LONGMUIR It is with deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Patricia Longmuir at the age of 73, born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. She left peacefully after a long courageous fight, battling cancer to be with her parents Michael and Edith Bowen, while surrounded by her loved ones at the Grace General Hospital on Wednesday. She is dearly missed by her two daughters Nikki Longmuir and Francesca Spradbrow. She will also be missed by her three grandsons Tristen, Jayden and Tarin who were the light of her life. She leaves behind her two sisters Eileen Bowen and Kathleen Malone and her two sons-in-law Chris Spradbrow and Todd Jenkyns. Our mom was determined to beat cancer. She was a fighter to the very end. She makes us proud. She will never be forgotten and will always be missed. At Patricia's request a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to CancerCare or The Children's Wish Foundation. Our hearts are broken, in time they will mend. Your spirit and memory will be the thread. Trisha was our neighbour and friend for more than 35 years. We had many interesting conversations over the fence, particularly the state of our flowers and yards.
