Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNETTE WAGNER It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister and Tante, Annette Wagner on Wednesday, May 29, 2014 at the age of 93. Annette was predeceased by her husband Phillip, sister Ada and brothers, Leonard and Kris. She is survived by her brother Harry, her sister Helga and her nephews, Dieter and wife Darlene, Eric and wife Joanne along with his children, Holly, Ben and Monica who she loved dearly. Annette was born in Poland on September 23, 1920 to Raymond and Alice Henke and moved to Winnipeg with her family in January, 1949. Annette and Philip made their home in West Kildonan close to the park for over 40 years. Annette worked at Canada Packers in Winnipeg for over 30 years prior to her retirement. Her and Philipp enjoyed travelling in their younger years, with a special desire for Mexico. She always loved to organize "good" deals for all of her family and her many friends for eggs, ducks, ribs, ham or whatever the "special" of the week happened to be. She also loved to cook, with everyone always looking forward to her ribs on special occasions and her traditional waffles every Halloween. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at the Luther Home who always provided her with the care and support she needed over the years. A service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Engle will be officiating. "Those to whom we say farewell are welcomed by others." Unknown It is never good bye just "see you tomorrow" Annette Wagner. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111
