Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLE EVELYN GUSZOWATY April 10, 1922 - June 1, 2014 Peacefully, on June 1, 2014, surrounded by her family, our much loved Mom and Baba left us. She was predeceased by her husband Dan. She is survived by five children, Rose Boyd, Julie Jonuk (Bob), Michael Guszowaty (Irene), Linda Smith (Russell), Jim Guszowaty (Gina), 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A big thank you to Concordia Place staff for their loving care, kindness shown to Carole and compassion to the family. Mom will always be remembered for her unique personality and sense of humor. She will be missed by all. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home with interment to follow in Transcona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carole's memory to Concordia Place c/o The Concordia Foundation Inc., 1095 Concordia Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S8, or to a charity of one's choice.
