CYRIL JOSEPH LAVALLEE Peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Portage District General Hospital, Cyril Joseph Lavallee, of Portage la Prairie, beloved husband of the late Jean Lavallee, passed away at the age of 84 years. Prayers will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Friday evening, June 6 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Eric Giddins celebrant. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Jean Bell; parents Victor and Louise Lavallee; daughter Carol Dawn; brothers Harvey, Floyd and Henry; sisters Mary Lilly, Shirley, Jenny, Adeline; infant sisters Doris and Irene; brother-in-law Norman Bell; sister-in-law Mary Bell. He is survived by children Mark (Imelda), James (Justine), Cyril, Norman (Dee) and Sonya (Laurie); numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren; sister-in-law Ella Bell; brother Jack (Gladys); sister Jean; and several nieces and nephews Should friends so desire donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7 or to a charity of your choice.
