GEORGE WILLIAM (BILL) TELFORD 1924-2014 Peacefully, on Monday, June 2, 2014, Bill passed away at the age of 89 years at St. Boniface Hospital. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years, Stella; children Sharon (Carl), Patricia (Stan), Bill (Lorna), Jane (Doug); grandchildren Susan, Shaun (Carina), Jason (Wendy), Ryan (Veronica), Jordon (Priscilla), Duncan, Kirsty, Justin and seven great-grandchildren. Bill served in the RCAF during the Second World War and was a reservist with the 402 Squadron. After 40 years he retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs. The family would like to thank the staff, especially Ruth, Shirley and Aishia, at St. Boniface on the 4E Ward and Ron from Home Care for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and at Bill's request a private graveside service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
