Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • Roshicks moved in across the street when he and I were 5. We grew up together, went to school together and played ball on the same teams. We were often in the same class in school. I remember Larry as always being concerned about the other guy before himself. I have not seen or talked to him for the last 35 years, but if we met tomorrow we would be the same friends we were as kids. I miss him. - Posted by: Lyall Sutton (Friend) on: Aug 05, 2014

  • I was so sad to learn of Larry's passing. I have fond memories of our times together. Larry taught me how to actually think "15's" in Cribbage. He was a whiz at it. And more recently he placed his confidence in me taking care of his financial affairs before Dorothy and I retired. Condolences to you Bev, as well as your family, Doug (Dorothy) Wiebe - Posted by: Doug & Dorothy Wiebe (Friend & Business Associate) on: Aug 03, 2014

  • We both worked in the General Lines division of MPI with Larry. Will always remember his smile and willingness to help. - Posted by: Doreen and Reg Pendgracs (Former coworkers at MPI) on: Jun 10, 2014

  • Erica, Joe, AJ, Jordan, My deepest sympathies for all of you. My special memory of Larry was how he was the most dedicated father and grandfather. Those are memories you will cherish your whole life time. Remember those special moments. After meeting Larry, I was most impressed with his devotion for his grandsons and family and his love of watching them in whatever sports they took part in. He is going to be sadly missed but trust me he will never be forgotten. I had the pleasure of knowing him and he will always hold a special place in my heart. Bev, I know that your loss is great, but having his memory live on through your grandsons, AJ and Jordan will give you much pleasure. Also knowing how many lives he touched over his life time. I am proud to say that I knew this man, and how you allowed me to be a part of your family. Bev, Erica, Joe, AJ & Jordan, please know that I am thinking of all of you.
