LILLIAN MCMILLIN (nee SIMPSON) Lillian Grace McMillin was born in Winnipeg on September 29, 1919 and passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on May 28, 2014 at Tuxedo Villa. Mom and her brother Harry spent their early childhood years in Plainfield, Illinois before moving back to Winnipeg. She later moved back to Illinois where she met and married George Langley McMillin. They moved to California until his passing in 1966 after which the family returned to Winnipeg. Mom was predeceased by her parents Richard and Grace Simpson. She was later predeceased by her partner of 30 years, Frank Graceffo. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her son George (Michele Gerlach), daughter Karen, and grandsons Jeff, Mike and David Del Buono. She is also survived by her brother Harry Simpson and his children Mike and Celia and their families. We wish to extend our appreciation to the staff of Tuxedo Villa for their care of Mom, in particular Brenda, Kim and Carmen and the staff of Station 3. At Mom's request a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
