JOHN BONNETT ARTHUR (JOHN) BONNETT 1936 - 2014 Peacefully on June 9, 2014, John passed away at the Victoria General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Remaining to forever cherish John's memory are his wife Donna; children John and Diane (Brent); and grandsons Braden, Tyler, Sheldon and Matthew. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Frank in 2009. John was born and raised in Winnipeg and married Donna in 1960. His career took the family to Brandon, MB for 16 years returning to Winnipeg in 1986. John loved to tinker in his shop and could fix or make just about anything. His mechanical ability led him to a career in robotics as well as several years of self employment. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service as per John's request. Family members will gather at a later date to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
