YVONNE RODRIGUE Yvonne Rodrigue (née Arguin), of Winnipeg, MB, went to her heavenly home on June 14, 2014, at the age of 86. She was born on July 14, 1927, on the family farm northwest of Gravelbourg, SK. After her schooling she moved to Winnipeg, MB, where she worked in the laundry department at the St. Boniface Hospital until her retirement. In 1960 she married Gérard Rodrigue, of St. Pierre, MB. He predeceased her in 1983, at the age of 56. Gerry and Yvonne loved to travel with their truck camper. They motored to Gravelbourg many times, parked their vehicle at Thomson Lake, and spent enjoyable days visiting with family and fishing with Yvonne's brother, Armand and wife, Emilia. Yvonne leaves to mourn numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was the youngest and the last survivor of a large and close family. A viewing will be he held at 12:30 p.m. with service to celebrate Yvonne's life at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357, rue Des Meurons, Winnipeg with reception to follow. After the reception, interment will take place at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
