JANET BLAINE Peacefully, on Sunday, June 22, 2014 with family by her side, Janet Blaine passed away at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her sisters Joan Belisle and Marion Reynoldson-Blaine, as well as many nieces and nephews. Although Janet did not have children she loved her nieces and nephews and was especially active in Blaine and Boyd's lives. Janet was a very active person always beautifying her yard. She loved bowling and was an avid shopper. Janet and her sister Joan were very active and on the go everyday doing various activities together. Janet was an independent woman and hard worker throughout her life. She selflessly devoted her time to caring for her parents throughout the years. Janet loved socializing with family and friends and that was evident by all who knew her. She will be remembered by her kind heart, bright smile, humour and laughter. She will be greatly missed but not forgotten. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 27 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). I will greatly miss Aunty Jan and her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and generous heart. I know I am a better person for having her in my life and will cherish the memories with a smile on my face. May she now be soaring with family and friends having a Grand Ol Time and continue to watch over us from above!
